For ostriches, many children may have the impression that they will always dig their long necks into the sand when they encounter danger. So today I will work with the children to make an origami ostrich for children. Through this simple origami tutorial, the children can make an interesting origami ostrich. But unfortunately, this ostrich cannot remove its head when in danger. Bury it in the soil!
1. First, turn the colored side of the paper up. Then fold the top corner toward the bottom corner. Then unfold to leave a crease in the middle.
2. Then fold the top and bottom corners to the creases made in the previous step.
3. Then unfold and fold the upper and lower corners of the previous step in the opposite direction to the half-fold crease as shown in the illustration.
4. Then fold the upper part of the origami model backwards.
5. Then fold the left corner upward.
6. Then fold the right corner inward and downward.
7. Rotate the origami model counterclockwise.
8. Then fold the top part forward.
9. Finally, use a paintbrush to draw the eyes of the ostrich, and a cute handmade origami ostrich is completed.
