Christmas, Valentines Day, Chinese Valentines Day... You begin to hate more and more festivals. In fact, you just don't know what gifts to give. The triviality of life makes you reluctant to take the time to savor the time together. Forget the original innocent warmth. Why not fold a love carton for her (him) with your own hands? In the rubbing of the paper and in the gaps between the creases, she (he) will find your overflowing heart, which is warm.
Prepare A4 size colored paper and double-sided tape.
Fold the long side in half and cut it in half, use one half to fold the box body and the other half to fold the lid.
Take half and fold it in half.
If there is a flower side, turn the flower side down and fold the upper part in half.
Open.
Fold the lower right corner up.
Expand and see the intersection with the center line
Fold the right half to the left across the intersection point.
Fold the upper right corner to the 1/4 line and fold the lower right corner to the 3/4 line.
Expand.
Fold the top 1/4 strip down.
Pull right along the crease.
Get something like the picture above.
Fold the middle strip upwards, aligning the lower diagonal crease with the midline and flattening it.
Keep the lower fold unchanged and pull the upper part out at a right angle.
Press the raised part in the middle under the strip.
Turn the strip down to the back.
Flat.
Turn over.
Fold the right side to the left side.
Align the lower right corner with the centerline fold.
Fold along the vertical edge of the triangle and fold the right half to the left, leaving a crease.
Expand.
Fold the right side to the left.
Fold in half.
Fold in half again.
Do the same on the left side, expand it, and get four small strips on the left and right sides.
Fold four small rectangular diagonal creases.
When you expand it, you will find that the creases of the four small strips are in the same direction as the diagonal creases of the two small squares in the middle.
Turn it over and hold the top half of the strip upright.
The squares are drawn together diagonally.
The triangle formed in the middle is pressed to one side.
Fold the top edge to the center line.
Open it and fold it in the middle.
Fold the lower sides toward the center line as well.
Get a small diamond shape.
Pull the upper part upward and crease along both sides of the lower part.
After flattening, form a triangle.
Open the diamond, the small triangle at the top is pressed into the inside to form a triangular pouch.
Fold the left side first, then fold the first long shape to the right along the vertical crease, and press the remaining three diagonal lines in the same way.
The right one is similar to the left one, fold the diagonal line to the left along the vertical crease.
Put the folded part into the triangular pouch.
Adjust the joint opening so that the front and back sides can be joined together, and use double-sided tape to secure the interface.
Indent the upper corners of the back.
The origami box body is completed.
Take the other half of the paper, fold it downwards, leaving a distance of about two millimeters, and open it to leave a crease.
Fold the top half down towards its crease.
Expand, leaving creases.
Fold the new crease in the upper right corner to the left.
Fold the right part of the long strip back through the point of the triangle.
Open all creases.
Turn over.
Fold the excess rectangular strip down.
Repeat the remaining steps of folding the box body to get the love box lid.
The box body and lid are folded.
The lid turns into a beautiful carton of love.
See how it works?
On Valentine’s Day or birthday, give your loved one a gift of love~
