Diamonds represent eternity and symbolize the long-lasting love. An origami tutorial with just a few steps to teach you how to fold a big diamond. If you are interested, you can follow the illustration below and try it. Although it is not too difficult, it is not easy to complete~

Prepare a square piece of paper.

First make a rice crease.

Basic triangle.

Fold one corner down.

Fold the other one like this too.

The same goes for the reverse side.

Open, with creases as above.

Fold a corner.

Do this on all four corners to make sure the creases are clear and neat.

Turn over.

Note that the two vertices of the bottom edge fall on the black line, and only fold the red line at the bottom, leaving a crease.

After folding all eight sides, open it and make the crease as shown in the black line in the picture above.

Pick up a corner. The black line is the center line of this large octagon, and the tops of the two lines next to this corner vertex fall on the center line of this figure. Fold the red line, leaving a crease (be careful not to fold the entire line).

After all eight corners are folded, the crease will look like the black line in the picture above.

The red line is the crease that was folded before. The leftmost point of the red line is connected to the top corner of the large octagon, leaving a crease.

The same goes for the other side, the black line is the crease.

After folding, the crease is shown as the red line in the picture.

As shown in the picture, the four black points are the intersection points left by the previous creases, connecting the above black points to the center line of the large octagon.

The crease is like this.

After all eight are folded, the red line crease is as shown in the picture above (the crease is the peak line).

Blue is the valley line and red is the peak line. Push the blue line inward and all the above will come out. This step will be easy if the creases from the previous steps are clear.

After folding in the previous step, the finished picture is as shown above.

If there is a gap at the bottom, you can apply a little glue to complete the three-dimensional beautiful diamond origami.
