Illustrated tutorial on using a U.S. dollar origami tie to tie a short-sleeved T-shirt. Other banknotes may not work because the U.S. dollar is relatively more slender. Of course, if you don’t have any requirements for the origami T-shirt itself, you can follow this simple tutorial to try folding it~~~
1. Prepare a rectangular piece of paper, about 15.5×6.5cm in size, which can be enlarged in the same proportion. Fold the paper in half and open it to create a crease in the middle.
2. Fold both corners of one side to the crease, and then fold the triangle formed after folding downwards.
3. Draw traces on the folded triangle. This will be what the tie will look like in the final work. It can be any size.
4. Open the paper one step and make the triangle part according to the line drawn earlier.Make a crease, and try not to fold it above the bottom edge of the triangle.
5. Fold the upper part down again. Fold the left part of the tie to the right according to the front crease. Then flatten the upper left part that has been pulled down.
6. Fold the tie to the right and then to the left.
7. Follow the previous steps to make the right part of the tie.
8. Fold the left and right parts to the center line and press them under the tie.
9. Taking the part on the left as an example, folding to the middle requires slightly opening the part that was previously pulled down, and overlapping the two asterisk parts to fold it smoothly to the middle.
10. Fold the lower edge upward about half a centimeter.
11. Turn it over and make the T-shirt collar part below. Fold the two lower corners diagonally toward the center line so that they meet at the center line.
12. Turn it over again and putThe lower part is folded upward so that the upper part of the collar is about 3 mm different from the lower pointed part of the tie.
13. Open the fold in the previous step, and then fold it up again. But when you fold it again, you need to open the middle opening and pull it outward to form the crease marked in the picture. This will complete the sleeve part.
14. Turn the model over and fold the lower and upper parts in half. Note that the asterisk parts are folded in half, not the bottom edge and the sharp corners of the upper part.
15. Fold the outermost part upward so that the upper neckline is exposed on the back.
16. Turn over, turn the two collars to the front, and the cute shirt with tie is completed~
After you learn how to do it, if you think you can do it, find some U.S. dollars and give it a try. You can go to the bank to exchange it~~~
