The trees have begun to change color, and it’s time to hang painted wooden leaves to decorate the season. They will look particularly beautiful when paired with the trees!
This is a fun tutorial and can't go wrong. Just paint the leaves in a variety of fall colors and you're guaranteed to have beautiful leaves.
Materials and tools: Purchase ready-made wooden leaves, twine, acrylic paint, brushes, and scissors.
1. Drill a hole in the leaf with a diameter slightly larger than the width of the twine. Since I wanted the leaves to fall randomly from the tree, we drilled holes in various parts of the leaves.
2. I applied the first coat of paint. Place them on paper towels to dry.
3. After the paint dried, I "dry brushed" the leaves to add color. Carefully dip your brush into the paint and dab it onto the cloth before you begin applying the color.Brush a small amount of paint onto the leaves for shading.
4. Dip a stiff-bristle brush into brown paint, then use the brush tip dipped in paint to drip paint on the leaves.
5. After the paint is dry, put on the twine and tie a knot on one side.
6. The beautiful autumn leaf decoration is ready~
