Step 2: Use scissors to trim the ears to make them smaller.

Step 3: Spray the entire thing white.

Step 5: Cut a 15-inch piece from the iridescent cellophane roll.

Step 6: Use a carving knife to cut 1 from the 15-inch cellophane paper.5-inch piece of cellophane, repeat this step until it is done enough to cover the entire pi?ata.

Step 7: Start cutting edges on one side of the strip, leaving some space at the top.

Step 8: Cover the entire pi?ata with iridescent cellophane stripes, starting at the bottom of the legs and working your way up. (As you enter your abdomen, start in the middle of the underside and work your way up from either side.)

Step 9: Use a carving knife and a ruler to score long strips on the mane and tail. Leave about 2 inches of space at the top.

Step 10: For the bristles, start by measuring 3 inches from the long side of a piece of cardboard. Cut it out, fold it in half, then fold each side in half again (opposite direction). Compare it to the height of the pi?atas neck. Trim off anything longer than the neck.

Step 11: Glue the center folds of the cardstock together, then glue the fringed tissue paper (cut for the bristles) to the sides of the cardstock.

Step 12: Glue the mane to the pinatas neck. Cover the sides of the cardstock base with excess iridescent cellophane stripes (so no one can see the bottom of it.)

Step 13: For the tail, cut out a 2.5" x 1" piece of cardstock, fold it in half, and fold the edges. Start attaching the tissue paper tassels to make the tail.

Step 14: Glue the tail to the back of the pinata.

Step 15: Glue the horns to the pinata’s forehead.

Step 16: Print out the unicorn eyes on white paper, cut out the eyes, and glue them to each side of the pinata.
