One day in New York, I suddenly opened a fairy tale book. At that moment, I seemed to pick up the longing for the fairy tale world. Maybe I felt the warmth and coldness of the real world after growing up, but the innocence and dreaminess in the story book The scene seemed to drag me to another peaceful time and space. Russian designer Lesia Paramonova’s series of works - LES’, in fact, “LES” is the Russian forest, conceptually hopes to convey the connection between humans and nature. Therefore, many flowers and animals were chosen for the patterns on the clothes, and the transparent texture of tulle was used to interpret the feeling of the misty forest.
This time, LES’ clothing patterns are collaborating with Taiwanese illustrator Hsiao Ron Cheng. The painting style is always full of gentle fairy tales but also tinged with a bit of sadness, achieving a contradictory visual impact. The color saturation used is always relatively low, and I think it is precisely because of this that it perfectly matches the misty forest concept of Lesia Paramonova!
Although the LES’ series is currently only available for retail in Russia, it is currently moving towards international expansion, and of course hopes to appear in Taiwan soon. After all, this is designed by Taiwanese people!
