Nowadays, the clothing field is becoming more and more diversified, and style types are constantly breaking through and developing, subdividing each market. Even childrens clothing has joined this fast-paced development, because parents have devoted all their efforts to their children. Attention has been paid to the image aspect. Recently, a new childrens clothing brand called CAVALIER was born in Singapore, which can definitely meet the needs of trendy children who pursue individuality. This brand boldly breaks the traditional design thinking and aesthetics, using a variety of elements and creativity to develop unique street clothing for children.
CAVALIER childrens clothing is co-created by Angela Chong and Perry Lam, a design duo who are restless and like challenges. They are also a husband and wife. The designers transformed their own experience and feelings about life into design language, adding multi-functional elements to the 'perfect outfit' in their fantasy, and designing fashionable streetwear for children that is comfortable, generous and extremely personalized.
Angela and Perry add their own ingenuity and interesting details to every piece of clothing; most of these designs are inspired by the designers' childhood memories. The childrens clothing series is full of surprises: the Dora Dress looks like a classic 'little black dress', but it has playful 'rocker hand' (rock gesture) appliqué pockets; the Capture Skirt is a clever circular skirt: the designer designed it on the skirt Added 18 braided ribbons. The purpose is to encourage children to be creative and connect ribbons to form an original piece of clothing; the D-Shirt was created by the designer in response to childrens habit of wearing T-shirts on their heads. This modified hooded T-shirt.
In order to cultivate childrens good deeds of separation, CAVALIER also designed clothes for three children of relatives and friends - Luke, Jamie and Sarah. These three pieces of clothing - Luke Shirt, Jamie Bermudas and Sarah Shorts - respectively show the personalities and preferences of the three children; at first glance, the design focus of Luke Shirt looks like the heart totem printed on the left chest. But if you look closely, you can see that the designer has embroidered a long arrow here. The end point of the arrow is the inconspicuous but meaningful little red heart embroidered on the cuff. This is the so-called 'wearing your heart on your sleeve' - not hiding, showing your true heart. This is Luke - cheerful and unpretentious; the book embroidered on the pocket flap of Jamie Bermudas highlights Jamies love of reading.
In addition, *CAVALIER will donate a portion of the proceeds from the sales of these three garments to charities of Luke, Sarah and Jamies choice. CAVALIERs first collection of childrens clothing for newborns and children from 2 to 10 years old is now available in the CAVALIER online store, The Vault www.CAVALIERvault.com, and in select clothing stores. Prices start from Singapore Dollars 40 (SGD 40).
