Hangers, clips, clothes, PP cotton, scissors, needle and thread.
Handmade DIY steps:
Step 1:
Cut the fabric into strips about 3cm wide.
Step 2:
Stretch the fabric slightly lengthwise so that the fabric naturally forms a roll, as shown in the picture.
Step 3:
Bend the clothes hanger into the shape in the picture. The distance between the two depressions is about 12cm.
Step 4:
As a long strip of cloth as the core, it is distinguished by white in the textbook. As shown in the picture, wrap the cloth strips into a heart shape, wrap the two ends of the cloth strips inwards and downwards, and finally tie the two ends. Then hang it on the hanger as shown. The crossing positions of the cloth strips are fixed with clips.
Step 5:
Hold one end of the purple cloth strip with your left hand, and pass the cloth strip through the two middle white cloth strips with your right hand, in front of the left and right strips, and the middle two strips. Behind the cloth strip.
Step 6:
For the cloth at the right end, pass the purple cloth strip through the white cloth strip from right to left in the order of one up and down. After reaching the left side, as shown in the picture, wrap it from the front of the left cloth strip. Go to the back, then go around to the front of the second white cloth strip from the left, to the back of the third white cloth strip from the left, and so on.
Step 7:
After the purple strip has been wound back and forth three or four times, tighten the strip slightly.
Step 8:
Put your fingers through the white strips of cloth and make a fist to tighten the gaps between the purple strips.
Step 9:
If you feel you have no idea about the shape of the slippers, you can place an oval-shaped reference object under the strip of cloth, as shown in the picture.
Step 10:
When one purple cloth strip is used up, you can change it to another color strip to make the color of the flip-flops look richer. The weaving method is the same as above, and the effect is as shown in the figure.
