The first thing to learn when learning crochet is to start the stitches. The crochet stitches are mainly divided into braid stitches and circular knitting stitches. The following production series will introduce the crochet braid stitches and crochet loop stitches in detail. Needle diagram, let’s learn together!
Crochet braid stitching method: (also called separate thread stitching method)
1. Place the crochet hook behind the thread and wrap the needle around in the direction shown by the arrow;
2. Wrap the thread around the crochet hook;
3. Turn the crochet hook in the direction shown by the arrow to hook the thread.
Illustration of crochet loop stitching:
1. Wrap the short end of the wire around the index finger of your left hand twice and pinch it with your thumb and middle finger;
2. Take the "circled" thread from your left hand and hold it between your left thumb and middle finger;
3. Wrap a long piece of thread around your left hand, pass the crochet needle through the "loop" and hook the thread out;
4. Use a crochet hook to hook out the thread;
5. Complete the circular stitching.
