It is full of weaving. A retro craft that brings creativity and inspiration to the reader. With a cup of tea, you can instantly create a unique woven tapestry on a simple loom. Let’s take a look at how it’s done~
Making materials: 30×40cm wooden multifunctional frame loom, yarn needle, scissors, cotton thread (used as warp), yarn or wool (white, dark blue, blue and light blue thread), log stick, shuttle
Step 1: Weave the cotton thread onto the frame loom, and keep the cotton thread elastic and not too tight
If you cannot purchase this kind of frame loom, you can use thick corrugated cardboard to make a simple hand-knitting machine as shown in the picture below
Step 2: Fix the weft thread used for weaving, that is, the yarn, at one end and tie a double knot on the back
Step 3: Cut the light blue yarn into a length of about 3m, fold it in half and weave it, and make a circle around every 2 warps until it is weaved to the right (refer to the picture below)
Step 4: After weaving two rows of light blue yarn, use a comb to arrange the loose wefts tightly
Step 5: Then start the basic weaving of white yarn
Step 6: After weaving 4 rows of white yarn, start weaving triangular tassels. Cut the light blue yarn into 35cm long, and start weaving 5 strands on the left and right sides. During the weaving, both sides are reduced at the same time. 2 warp threads, slowly weave the tassel strip downward to form a triangle
Step 7: Use white yarn to knit and fill the gaps between the light blue tassels, lock the position of the light blue yarn, knit the white yarn to the top of the triangle, and then knit the medium blue yarn according to the steps Method 6 is still used to weave a tassel triangle
Step 8: Then weave the dark blue yarn, or the tassel triangle

Step 9: After the tassel strip is knitted, it still needs to be knitted and filled with white yarn to lock the position of the dark blue yarn
Step 10: Finally tighten the braided yarn, secure it at the back end, and cut off the excess length
Step 11: Carefully pull out the warp from the top of the loom, and pass the log pin through the warp ring, or cut the warp directly to remove it, and tie it to the log in pairs
p>Step 12: Cut a 35cm long piece of white yarn as a lanyard and fix it on both ends of the log
Step 13: Finally, trim the ends of the tassel strips
