If you have a baby at home, you will usually prepare a few pairs of warm woolen shoes. Whether they can wear them or not is up to the elders! I will share a tutorial on how to knit cute and fresh baby shoes. If you like it, you can follow it. Try the tutorial below~
Prepare 4 No. 14 iron needles.
The soles are all plain stitched, starting with 11 stitches and knitting 2 rows.
How to add stitches? Just pick a stitch next to it and add stitches.
Add both ends to change from 11 stitches to 13 stitches.
When knitting, relax the knitting so that the soles will not curl up. Also, its a line from left to right, not back and forth.
Start knitting the reduced stitches.
Sole molding.
Pick the needle in half.
Pick the needle from the sole of the shoe.
The sole selection needle is determined according to your babys feet.
Start knitting the first row, flat stitch.
Then start knitting two up and two down, knitting 4 rows.
Change to two down and two up knitting, 4 rows.
Continue knitting 4 rows.
The same is 4 lines.
Start reducing the stitches and merge every two stitches into one stitch.
Reduced from 46 stitches to 23 stitches.
Start weaving one by one.
Continue to reduce stitches.
Reduce the stitches again and merge two stitches into one stitch.
The toe cap is knitted.
Start picking the soles.
After picking the needle, knit a row of flat stitches as well.
The next step is to knit everything in jersey.
Start connecting with the upper.
The heel and upper are connected together.
The heels are all flat stitch.
Let the baby try his feet.
The heel is woven as high as the upper.
Pick 10 stitches on the toe.
Start weaving the shoe tube two up and two down.
Knit the shoe tube high so it won't fall off easily.
