Tutorial on making your own iPad tablet protective case:
1. Materials needed for DIY tablet protective case: zippers, scissors, N pins, a piece of plaid fabric and red fabric purchased based on the tablet computer.
2. Place the zipper on the blue plaid fabric and use pins to position it. When preparing the zipper, make it 5cm longer than the long sides of the blue plaid fabric on the left and right sides.
3. Use scissors to cut a few openings at the corners of the zipper. It is worth noting that when cutting, do not overcut, and keep a distance of about 0.5cm between the opening and the kalian.
4. Use a pin to secure the zipper and blue fabric at the corner.Once it’s fixed, it doesn’t matter if you insert a few more.
5. Sew the zipper to the blue plaid fabric.
6. Add a layer of red lining (single layer) on the basis of steps 5 and position it with pins.
7. Sew the three layers of fabric (blue plaid + zipper + red lining) from the front.
8. The corners are also pre-opened so that the zipper and the other two layers of fabric can be better connected together.
9. This is the finished side of the protective cover, which is a semi-finished product. At this time, you can use an iron to flatten two larger pieces of fabric.
10. Start to complete the other half. Turn the sewn half of the red fabric upwards, and sew the new piece of blue fabric to the other side of the zipper (the side without the seam edge).
11. On the basis of the semi-finished product with the red side facing upward, add a piece of red cloth of the same size and fix the position with a pin.
12. Turn it over and see that there is already a prototype of a protective cover. And when you turn it over and look at it, you can understand the next steps more clearly.
13. First use pins to fix the two pieces of blue fabric. The blue fabric on the outward side faces each other, and the inner side faces up, and then sew them together.
14. Process the inner red fabric as in step 13, so that the sealing side will not be visible to the naked eye and is hidden between the fabrics, making it more beautiful.
