There are many types of child seats, including car child seats and bicycle child seats that we often made when we were young. Fixing a child seat on the back of a bicycle with the baby sitting behind it is also a childhood memory for many people. The following editor from the production department has compiled for you a tutorial on how to make a bicycle child rear seat cushion. The production process is simple and can be made by mothers with manual experience. Let’s try it together.

- What we will make is a 30cm x 30cm seat cushion. Since it includes a 1cm seam allowance, you need to cut and prepare 62cm x 32cm fabric.
Fold the fabric in half.
- As shown in the picture, leave an opening of 15 cm and sew both ends (yellow thread) with a sewing machine.
- Attach a 2.5cm wide rubber band to the rounded corner.
- Draw the production lines for clarity. The yellow wire is 2.5 cm long and the white wire is 1.5 cm long (the hole for the rubber band).
- Cut 1.5cm of white line.
- Put the rubber band through the inside.
- Sew with a sewing machine at 2.5 cm.
- Similarly cut off the 1.5cm corner of the other end and let the rubber band pass through.
- Pull the rubber band while adjusting its length.
- Sew at 2.5 cm and cut off the excess rubber band.
- The other two ends are also made with corners.
- The effect is shown in the figure below.
- Turn over the opening to the front.
- The corners of the rubber band look like this.
- Put the cushion into the prepared cushion cover.
- Collate tiling after filling.
- Sew back the mouth seam. It can be sewn with a sewing machine or by hand.
- The child chair seat cushion is handmade.
