This is a very colorful apron suitable for children. It is mainly made of simple fabric and an adjustable bag to complete the apron production. Children’s apron making tutorial
- Draw the apron pattern (yellow line) on the fabric, take a 2cm seam allowance and cut it.
- According to the shape of the apron fabric, cut the upper part of the apron into a piece of fabric about 8 cm high.
- Match apron straps to fabric lining and sew.
- Fold the inner edge of the apron 1 cm (black line)
- Use a sewing machine to sew the edges. (red line)
- Sew the waist long strap (35 cm) (in the white circled part·as described in step "7").
- Fold and sew the long waist belt as shown in the picture below.
- The folding effect of the corner part is as shown in the figure below.
- Sew as shown below.
- Repeat the same steps for the other corner.
- Next, sew on the Velcro strips (approximately 6 cm). Attach stitching at the edge of the strap with the Velcro tape facing up (red line) as shown in the photo.
- Turn back so the rubber end is inside and sew around the perimeter (black line).
- The waist strap bonding will look like this.
- Place the adjuster on the short side of the shoulder strap (white arrow) and sew (red line).
- Put the strap through the other side from the top to the bottom of the adjuster. (white arrow)
