I like all kinds of storage baskets, but I don’t want to spend money on them. So, I thought of an ingenious way to make felt into various storage boxes, which can be used to place different items depending on the depth. Are you friends also a little excited? You only need to prepare felt cloth, and you can follow the diagram below to make them step by step!~
Materials and tools: sewing needle, sewing thread, 4 mm thick felt, scissors.
1. Determine the size of your basket and cut out the felt pieces as shown in the picture above.
As you can see, it only takes 3 measurements and changes the size accordingly.
If you want the basket to have handles, cut out strips of felt as shown by the dotted lines.
2. Sew all the C edges together.
3. A simple storage basket has been completed.
4. As you can see in step 1, I used a piece of 100cm * 85cm felt. After cutting out the required parts for the storage basket, 4 small pieces of 25cm * 25cm felt were left. I just sewed the corners and made four storage trays.
5. These small trays can be used to store keys or jewelry. They look nice, right?
