Illustrated tutorial for making your own leather keychain, using cowhide material and designed in the shape of a small house. If the case is too simple, you can add leather carving techniques to carve out your favorite pattern.
Materials and tools: cardboard, pen, scissors, cowhide (vegetable or chrome tanned), leather knife, sanding disc, sander, key ring, design and production template cardboard.
1. First design the keychain.
2. Cut the cardboard block and fold it in half.
3. Draw the designed small house on one side of the cardboard.
4. Fold it in half and cut it out with scissors, then unfold it.
5. Place the cardboard block on the leather to draw marks.
6. Cut it out with a leather knife.
7. Fold it in half through the key ring.
8. Apply glue to the inside of the leather.
9. Glue the two symmetrical small houses together.
10. Flatten and align the edges.
11. Wipe the anti-stain lotion to prevent the leather from getting stained.
12. Use a leather edge processor to process the edges of the leather, which can also be done before polishing later.
13. Use a ruler and compass to draw marks on the edge to prepare for drilling.

15. Thread the two hand sewing needles with wax thread.
16. Use a double needle to start sewing the keychain.
17. After sewing, cut the wax thread short and handle the knot.
18. Use a sanding disc to polish the edges of the leather to make it smooth.
19. Use the other side of the sanding disc to grind finely.
20. Epithelial edge treatment agent, ready for fine sanding.
21. Use a sanding rod to carefully polish the leather edge with the leather edge treatment agent to make it round and smooth.
