1. Get a feel for it and cut out some very simple cloud shapes. You can use a pencil to outline the exact shape you want, and when you're ready to sew them together, you can turn them over so the pencil marks are on the inside. Then you need to fasten them together.

2. Sew along the edge of the cloud, leaving about 5mm between the stitch and the edge. Make sure not to seal the cloud, leaving a gap of 2-3 cm so that the cloud can be stuffed with cotton.

3. Tuck the cotton in before placing the cloud back on the sewing machine and sewing to completely seal. Repeat the steps to make 4 white clouds and 4 gray clouds.

4. To create the pom poms, I used 2 medium sized pom pom tools. Create as many pom poms as desired.

5. Carefully cut out the raindrop shape on the non-woven fabric. I used 3 colors and created 16 x white, 8 x black and 8 x light pink. Use a carving knife to create a hole in the top of each raindrop large enough for the embroidery floss to pass through. Use the pen to widen it, making sure the holes are roughly the same size on both sides of it.

6. Now, sew your raindrops onto the clouds. You will repeat 4 times on each cloud.

7. At this stage, measure out 8 pieces of embroidery thread of the same length, then place the colored pom poms on the top of the thread and the clouds on the bottom of the thread. Now you can attach the clouds to the long length of embroidery thread you prepared earlier. First, you want to tie a knot at the bottom of the thread and then attach the needle to the other end. Go straight through the center of the clouds from seam to seam, this will keep things tidy and allow the clouds to hang evenly instead of tilting.

8. After the cloud is securely attached to the long embroidery thread, tie a knot along the length of the thread to secure the pom pom at the top of it. Bring your needle to the end again and very carefully sew the first pom pom to secure it to the knot. You can attach 2 or 3 pom poms.

9. Once you have completed all 8 tassels, you can secure them to the wooden hoop with a simple double knot. Make sure to stagger them so that all the clouds are different heights and trim the ends. Then cut 8 more pieces of embroidery floss and tie each one to the same 8 lanyard knots. Double tie the knot and test by pulling each knot to a point to make sure the ring will lay flat when hung.

10. Fixed to the ceiling above the crib, but can also be attached to the crib itself via the crib mobile arm. I guess it depends on your room~
