Make butterfly patterns by hand patchwork. Once you learn how to do it, you can use it on cloth covers, bags, etc.
Cut the fabric and sew with 1/4" seam allowance.
Background cloth:
3 1/2 x 4 1/2 - cut into 1 piece
1 1/2 x 3 1/2 - cut into 1 piece
2 1/2 x 2 1/2 - cut into 3 pieces
2 1/2 x 3 1/2 - Cut 2 copies
1 1/2 x 1 1/2 - cut into 4 pieces
2 1/2 x 4 1/2 - cut into 1 piece

2 1/2 x 8 1/2 - Cut 2 copies
2 1/2 x 12 1/2 - cut into 2 pieces
Big wings:
2 1/2 x 4 1/2 - cut into 2 pieces
Little wings:
1 1/2 x 1 1/2 - cut into 2 pieces
Back side of butterfly body:
1 1/2 x 1 1/2 - cut into 3 pieces
To make the large wings, stack 2 1/2 and 2 1/2 x 4 1/2 pieces of fabric and sew diagonally as shown in the picture.
Arrange pieces of fabric to create a butterfly shape.
Start with small pieces of fabric.
Then spliced ??into 4 groups.
Then join them two by two to form a butterfly diagram.
The butterfly chart is super simple and very vivid.
