Colorful hand-painted pillow DIY does not require painting skills. As long as you prepare non-woven fabric (blank pillowcases can save a lot of work) and paint, you can express your creativity as you like. Dot pop and radiating star patterns are the easiest. Let’s draw it, let’s DIY a unique and beautiful pillow~~
Material Tools:
Two pieces of white canvas 56cm*114cm
Special oil paint for fabrics
Brush
Small round wood chips
Scissors
Iron
White sewing thread
Sewing machine
Tailors ruler
Pin
Use a flat brush dipped in oil paint and paint on the canvas to create a radial pattern. In other words, starting from one point and drawing around, it is often better to do it quickly and casually.
Use a thin pen dipped in black oil paint and draw a polka dot circle.
Cut the single-sided adhesive foam into irregular circles and stick them on the round wood pieces. Paint different colors on different foams. A total of five wood pieces of different colors are needed.
Cover different colors of foam on a white canvas to form a multi-color pop painting.
After the oil paint dries, trim the fabric to a size of 48cm*115cm
Fold a 1.3cm wide edge on each of the two 48cm sides, then fold it inward once and iron it flat with an iron.
Sew the two folded edges together.
Face the canvas, right side in, and secure it in place with pins.
Sew the two long sides, leaving one short side as an opening.
Press the canvas fully flat, turn it over to the front, and the pillow cover is ready. Just put in the filling and you're done!
