The cute handmade ribbon slippers tutorial looks simple but is a bit complicated to make. First, you need to weave a rope out of ribbon and then glue it with hot melt glue. However, these slippers are best worn indoors because the ribbon soles get dirty easily and are afraid of water. For specific steps to DIY slippers, please refer to the detailed illustrated tutorial below.
Required materials:
Satin ribbon, hot melt glue.
Production steps:
Start processing the ribbon. If you know how to braid, this step is very simple.
Wrap the braided ribbon rope while fixing it with hot melt glue.
Attach the back of the shoe before closing the sole.
A pair of soft and comfortable home slippers has been DIYed.
If you think it is too monotonous, you can consider decorating the slippers with a bow (see [here] for how to make a bow).
