Materials for making rag doll: White plush cloth, printed cotton cloth, black embroidery thread, yellow embroidery thread, stuffing cotton.
How to make rag dolls:
1) Cut the fabric. Head front piece x1, head back piece x2, body x2, ears x4.
2) Sew the cat body. The front sides of the two body parts are stitched opposite each other, and the neck is left unsewed as a return opening.
3) Sew the cat’s ears, eyes and mouth. The ears are sewn onto the head. Use needle and thread to embroider the eyes and mouth on the front of the head.
4) Sew the cat’s head. Sew the two back pieces of the head together, leaving a large gap in the middle as a return opening. Then put the front and back pieces of the head facing each other and sew all around, leaving the neck unsewed.
5) Head and body combination. The cats head and body are sutured at the neck, and the neck opening needs to be preserved. After sewing, turn the head and body out from the head opening to the front, insert stuffing cotton from the back opening, and sew the back opening using the hidden stitch method. This completes the making of the cat rag doll.
