Homemade multifunctional apron Simple handmade apron

DIY multifunctional apron, made of canvas, is waterproof, wear-resistant, washable, and unisex. You can wear this apron for cooking, cleaning, or pruning your nursery, and there are small storage pockets sewn into the apron for easy access.

Apron DIY materials:

Dark blue striped canvas (apron main fabric), light blue striped canvas (apron pocket fabric), 30 mm wide white nylon twill tape (apron ties).

Apron DIY Steps:

1) Fold the main body of the apron in half, cut it according to the size shown in the picture, and then unfold it;

2) All sides of the main fabric, except for the armholes where the ties are worn, are folded inward 1/2 inch twice and sewn in a straight line;

3) Fold the armhole part of the main fabric inward 1/4 inch, then fold it inward 1 inch, and then sew. This will form a hole less than 1 inch wide, through which the lace will pass;

4) Cut the apron pocket fabric into a rectangle 17 inches wide and 10 inches high;

5) Fold the top edge of the pocket fabric 1/2 inch inward twice and sew in a straight line. Sew the other three edges in a curved line, then fold in 1/2 inch to sew straight lines, and fold neatly at the corners as shown;

6) Sew the pocket fabric to the main fabric to make a skirt pocket. at a distanceSew two straight lines away from the right side of the pocket to form two small pockets 3.5 inches wide;

7) Cut a 97-inch long tie, fold in 1/2-inch twice at both ends, and sew. Thread the laces through the holes of the apron to complete the DIY production.
