Christmas stocking making materials:
Bright-colored surface fabric, white lining fabric, twill fabric for hanging straps, and colorful embroidery thread.
How to make Christmas stockings:
1) Two layers of surface fabric and two layers of lining fabric are stacked together, fixed with beading needles, draw a sock pattern on the cloth, and then cut it out. After cutting, make two pieces each of the outer fabric and the lining fabric.
2) Sew the sides and bottom of the two pieces of fabric with a seam allowance of 0.25 inches and a folded bag opening of 0.5 inches. The lining is sewn in the same way, with a seam allowance of 0.5 inches, and the bag opening is also folded back 0.5 inches.
3) Turn the top fabric inside out, then stuff the lining fabric into the top fabric. Align the folded edges of the top fabric and lining fabric, and fix them with beading needles. Use the hidden stitch method to sew the bag opening.
4) Sew the lanyard. Make a hanging strap out of twill fabric. Turn the sock inside out and sew the straps about 4 inches from the top of the sock.
5) Turn the sock back over and fold the sock opening 4 inches. Embroider letters or patterns on the socks. The beautiful Christmas stockings are finished.
