Tutorial on using old T-shirts to make DIY headbands. When girls occasionally need to exercise, but are determined not to tie their hair into a ponytail, you can use old T-shirts to braid yourself a practical headband ~ unique and economical.
Main materials:
Old T-shirt
Tools required:
Scissors, hot melt glue
Production steps:
Step 1:
The materials required for the tutorial are as shown below
Step 2:
Cut two strips of fabric about 1 inch wide (about 3 cm) from the bottom of the T-shirt. The approximate width is as shown in the picture. Stretch the cut fabric strip slightly and the strip will naturally roll up due to its elasticity.
Step 3:
Stretch the cloth strip as much as possible to finally achieve the effect as shown in the picture below. Place a strip of cloth into the shape shown in the picture for later use, with the left side pressed on the right side.
Step 4:
Put the second strip of fabric through the bottom right side of the first strip and press it on the left side of the first strip, as shown in the picture.
Step 5:
After pressing the left side of the first cloth strip, the second cloth strip then goes around the ring-shaped part in the middle of the first cloth strip from the bottom, as shown in the picture.
Step 6:
Grasp the two ends of the two strips of cloth and pull them tightly. The shape of the strips before tightening is as shown in the picture.
Step 7:
The knot of the fabric strip after tightening should be as shown in the picture. At the same time, cut another small piece of fabric and tape the two ends of the strip together.
Step 8:
The small piece of cloth should completely wrap both ends of the cloth strip, so use a little moreSome hot glue. The hot melt glue stick needs to be heated to a slightly higher temperature to achieve better viscosity.
Step 9:
After gluing it, it’s done~ It’s much easier than imagined~
Tips:
You can DIY multiple headbands from one piece of clothing~ You can share them with your sisters~
