The top is one of the earliest entertainment toys among Chinese folk. It is also called a top. It is called "Qianle" in southern Fujian and "Bingyi" or "Daolao Niu" in the north. The upper part of the shape is round and the lower part is sharp. In the past, it was mostly made of wood.

Take a square piece of paper and fold it diagonally.
Then follow the creases to form the shape in the picture above.
Fold several more identical components.
Then plug the corners of the components together.
Complete making the paper top.
If you are worried that it will fall apart, you can also use glue or double-sided tape to stick it on.
The last step is to put it on the flat ground and let the top spin~
