
Cosmos, also known as Qiu Ying, Qiu Ying, and Big Cosmos, is native to Mexico. It likes light, tolerates poor soil, avoids fertilizer, avoids excessively fertile soil, avoids heat, avoids stagnant water, is not adaptable to high temperatures in summer, and is not tolerant to cold. Requires loose, fertile and well-drained loam. It belongs to the Asteraceae family and belongs to the genus Qiuying. Herbaceous plant with erect slender stems, single opposite leaves, and flower heads borne on slender pedicels, terminal or axillary. The tubular flowers occupy the central part of the flower disk and are all yellow. Achenes have rafters, seed life is 3 to 4 years, and dry grain weight is 69. Flowering period is summer and autumn.
