This summer vacation, I went to Beijing and went to the Forbidden City.
The members who went to the Forbidden City this time were: me, my grandma, parents, younger brother, my second uncle, second aunt, sister, and my uncle.
To go to the Forbidden City, you must first pass through Tiananmen, so we took several photos in front of Tiananmen. There is a big picture of Chairman Mao above Tiananmen Gate, and next to it is written: "Long live the Peoples Republic of China, long live the great unity of the people of the world." ”I like these two sentences the most! Because these two sentences describe the strength of our country! We continued to walk forward and walked into Tiananmen. I looked up: wow! There are so many people! It’s so crowded. , and there are many foreigners! My father took me to the ticket office to buy a ticket and a map, and our "Forbidden City Tour" began!
Enter the Meridian Gate and walk After crossing the Jinshui Bridge, we came to the Gate of Taihe. After passing through the Gate of Supreme Harmony, you will find the Hall of Supreme Harmony. It is indeed an ancient royal palace. The railings outside the palace are all carved with white marble, and the chairs, handrails, pillars and roof inside the palace are all made of gold. There was a sign on the chair where the emperor sat when he went to court, which read: "Justice and Honesty." I think this should be a warning to people: they must be aboveboard and aboveboard in everything they do, and not be sneaky. The Hall of Supreme Harmony is the most central palace in the Forbidden City and the place where the emperor administers administration. Therefore, the Hall of Supreme Harmony is the most spectacular and exquisite of all the palace attics.
Walking out of the Hall of Supreme Harmony, walking through the Hall of Zhonghe, Hall of Baohe and Qianqing Gate, you came to the Palace of Qianqing. This is the emperors palace, the place where the emperor rests. Since Qianqing Palace is the place where the emperor rests, it cannot be worse than other palaces. The Qianqing Palace is a yellow-glazed double-eaves verandah roof, located on a single-layer white marble platform. The palace is also covered with gold bricks, making the palace look more magnificent. In the center of the hall, there is a golden throne with a screen behind the throne. On both sides of the screen, there are two thick golden pillars, and there are warm pavilions at both ends of the throne. Qianqing Palace is indeed very good, right?
Going further, we came to the Imperial Garden. The Imperial Garden is so beautiful! The exquisite pavilions, fragrant flowers, green grass, tall trees, and the clear lake water all made me deeply intoxicated...
After walking such a long way, we were all exhausted, so we went back and went home.
The Palace Museum has opened its doors and windows that have been closed for a long time. Let us see its magnificent colors, listen to the sound of the Forbidden City, breathe the breath of history, and feel the heritage of Chinese culture! I am China. People are proud! Proud! May our motherland be more prosperous and strong in the future!
