Donkey (animal)
Class Mammalia, Order Perissodactyla, Equus, Genus Equus, horses and donkeys belong to the genus Equus, also known as donkeys, but they are different species. They have a common origin. They are smaller than horses and zebras, but they have many similarities with Equus. Common features: The third toe is well-developed and hoofed, and the remaining toes have degenerated.
The donkey looks like a horse, mostly gray-brown, not majestic. It has a big head, long ears, a slightly narrow chest, thin limbs, and a short trunk. Therefore, the height and length of the donkey are roughly equal and square. The neck skin is thin, the hooves are small and solid, the body is strong, and the resistance is very strong. Donkeys are very strong, can withstand extensive work, are not prone to illness, and have the advantages of being docile, hard-working, and obedient.
