Simple drawings of marine animals: simple drawings of whales
Whales belong to the phylum Chordata, the subphylum Vertebrates, the class Mammalia, and the subclass Eutheria, which include about 98 species of placental mammals that live in oceans and rivers. There are more than 30 species in my countrys waters. The definition of "whale" itself is relatively vague. The order Cetaceans can include all whales, as well as whales of specific families. Cetaceans also include dolphins, killer whales and pilot whales belong to the family Delphinidae. Cetaceans are mainly divided into two suborders: Mysticeti suborder and Odontoceti suborder. There are fewer types of baleen whales, but they are huge. The smallest known species is more than 6 meters long. The largest animal in the world, the blue whale, also belongs to this suborder. The body shapes of toothed whales vary greatly. The smallest species is only about 3 decimeters in length, and the largest, the sperm whale, is more than 20 meters long. In terms of weight, the largest whale currently weighs 160,000 kilograms, and the smallest weighs 2,000 kilograms. Whales are not fish.
