Turkey simple drawing pictures
Turkey (scientific name: Meleagris gallopavo), also known as the turkey, was first domesticated as a poultry in Oaxaca, Mexico, at about the same time as the European Neolithic Age (the European Neolithic Age was about 5,000 BC). Turkey was imported to Europe at the end of the 15th century and to China much later. Turkeys are still wild in southern North America. Similar to other galliformes, the female is smaller than the male and less brightly colored. With a wingspan of up to 1.5-1.8 meters, turkeys are the largest birds in local open woodlands and are difficult to confuse with other species. There are six subspecies of turkey. The modern domestic turkey was derived from the domestication of local wild turkeys by the indigenous people of Mexico.
