Dice, a throwing tool used in ancient Chinese folk entertainment. According to legend, it was built by Cao Zhi of Wei State during the Three Kingdoms period. Usually used as props for table games, the most common dice is the six-sided dice, which is a right cube with one to six holes (or numbers) on it, and the sum of the numbers on its two opposite sides must be seven. Chinese dice are customarily painted red at one and four o'clock. Dice are random number generators that are easy to make and obtain.
