Illustration of handmade greeting cards for Teachers' Day
Materials:Colored cardboard, colored pencils, scissors, glue stick or double-sided tape.
Production steps:
Step 1: Print a heart-shaped template
The following is a template of a heart-shaped structure. Of course, if you think you can cut it out, you can also cut it out according to this shape.
Step 2: Cut out the heart shape
Draw it on red paper and cut it out. As shown in the picture below, fold the extra trapezoid in the middle and bottom.
Step Three: Make the Base Card
Prepare a piece of cardboard. Note that the paper should be a little harder, so that the texture of the greeting card will be better. Fold the cardboard in half to make the main body of the greeting card.
Step 4: Cut the white card
Cut a piece of white cardboard, which is half the base card of the greeting card. Make it slightly smaller for the inside. At the same time, cut out an inverted triangle structure. As shown below. Note here that the smile and slope of this triangle should match the half of the heart you just cut out.
Step 5: Paste the white card
Adhere the white cardboard to the main body of the greeting card. As shown in the picture below, it should be exactly in the middle of the greeting card cover when pasting.
Step 6: Colored Lead Painting
Hand drawn with colored pencils. Don’t use too many colors. In order to highlight the layering, you can use a few more colors of different colors to paint the green part.
Step 7: Paste the heart shape
Paste the heart-shaped structure you made previously. The flowers painted on the upper part can be more colorful, such as adding leaves, etc., and there you go! Now you can open the greeting card and write your blessings inside!
