How to make a little mermaid clothespin doll

Method:

1. Cover the table with newspapers or waste paper.

2. Pick up the clothespin, with the flat side facing up and the notch on the side.

3. Paint Ariel’s dark green fins on the clothespins. It should be painted into a "V" shape on her waist. You can also let your kids get creative and paint the mermaid different colors. Then apply a purple or other color shell top.

4. Now let’s draw the mermaid’s face. As shown in the picture, add black eyes and a red mouth to the mermaid. Leave to dry.

5. After drying, draw some light green scales on the mermaid’s tail, and add a light green edge on the mermaid’s waist. Leave to dry.

6. During the drying process, print the tail fin template and cut it out on the green handmade foam paper according to the template. Each doll requires two tail fins.

7. Peel off the adhesive paper on the back of the foam paper and stick the two tail fins together back to back. Clip the tail fin into the notch of the clothespin and adjust the position. It is best to fix the tail fin with glue, otherwise it will easily fall off from the gap.

8. Children can also use different colored tail fins for each mermaid.

9. Use fine wool as mermaid hair. Take a piece of thin wool, about 13 cm long. Fold the yarn in half.

10. Put a drop of hot melt glue on the center of the dolls head and stick the thin wool to the glue. Trim the length of yarn. The Little Mermaid clothespin doll is ready.
