Monkeys are members of three species of great apes found in warm areas of Asia, Africa and the Americas. In monkeys, the brain is generally developed, the eye sockets are forward and narrow, the toes (fingers) of the hands and feet are separated, the thumbs are flexible, and most of them can be grasped with other toes (fingers).
