Larvae of Coccinella 7-punctata
The life of larvae is monotonous. They swim among flowers and plants every day, hunting aphids crazily. The life of a ladybug is very short. It only takes about a month from egg to adult stage, so no matter what time, we can find ladybug eggs, larvae and adults in the garden at the same time.
As time goes by, the appetite of ladybug larvae becomes larger and larger, and their bodies continue to grow. They must break free from the shackles of their old skin and begin an arduous process - molting. This process is not as simple as taking off our old clothes and replacing them with an oversized coat. Ladybugs go through 5 to 6 molts in their lives. After each molt, their bodies continue to grow until they accumulate enough energy to enter the pupa stage.
This is a simple painting of a seven-star ladybug. The painting is exquisite and it is a good simple painting!
