flying house ladybug

Adult ladybugs will prey on any soft-fleshed insect. Their favorite food is aphids, but any insect that is not wearing armor or other protective coats, has a soft body, and is small may become their meal. Prey does not fall into a trap; the ladybug must constantly fly to search for its target. It seems unlikely that a ladybug can fly. Its built less like a pilot and more like a medicine chest. It has a hard coat, and its set of small, delicate wings stretches out from under the coat and dances wildly. Ladybugs are indeed skilled fliers, and it is precisely because of their superb flying skills that they can come and go freely in every corner of the garden.
