Leonardo di Piero da Vinci (original Italian name: Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci, 1452 April 15 - May 2, 1519, aged 67), Italian scholar and artist.

He is a painter, astronomer, inventor, and construction engineer with profound thoughts, profound knowledge, and versatile talents. He was also good at sculpture, music, invention, and architecture, and was proficient in mathematics, physiology, physics, astronomy, geology and other subjects. He was versatile, diligent and prolific. There are about 6,000 pages of preserved manuscripts. All of his scientific research results are preserved in his manuscripts. Einstein believed that if Leonardo da Vincis scientific research results had been published at that time, technology could have advanced 30-50 years.

Leonardo da Vinci already showed artistic talent when he was a boy. When he was about 15 years old, he went to Florence to study under a teacher and grew into a painter and sculptor with scientific literacy. He became a military engineer and architect. After applying to Milan in 1482, he carried out creative and research activities in the noble court. From 1513, he wandered in Rome, Florence and other places. He lived in France in 1516 and died of illness on May 2, 1519. Asteroid 3000 was named "Leonardo". The most famous work is the Mona Lisa, which is now one of the three treasures of the Louvre Museum in Paris.
