Graphium sarpedon (Linnaeus), whose scientific name is Graphium sarpedon (Linnaeus), is a butterfly of the family Papilionidae, also known as Graphium sarpedon, linnaeus, and blue phoenix. The butterfly or green-banded swallowtail butterfly is divided into spring and summer types. The spring type is slightly smaller and has slightly wider bluish spots on its wings. There are multiple generations per year and the generations overlap, and they overwinter as pupae. Adults appear from March to October and can be seen year-round in the tropics. The green swallowtail butterfly has strong flying ability and likes to visit flowers to suck nectar. It often moves in humid and open areas at low altitudes. It is also common in gardens, streets and forest clearings. Mainly distributed in Asia and Oceania.
