This cute little house is made from discarded cardboard boxes. Cats can nest in it and use it as their own little castle.
Decor the outside with colorful fabrics and felt, and add a fleece rug on the inside to create a comfortable, happy space that any cat will be proud to call home and love!~
You will need:
A cardboard box 32 x 40 x 24 cm
A piece of cardboard 32 x 40 cm
Two pieces of red striped fabric, 24 x 32 cm
Two pieces of blue striped fabric, 24 x 40 cm
Orange felt: two 16 x 32 cm, two 16 x 40 cm
One green felt cloth, 32 x 40 cm
2.5 meters long, 1.5 cm wide white lace
Light blue, yellow and pink felt
Utility knife
White glue
Tape
1. Use a box cutter to cut the window (if not, you can only use a utility knife and scissors). Next, trim the top flap of the carton at an angle so that the roof slopes.
Tip: Place a cutting mat or piece of cardboard so you don't damage your work surface or accidentally cut parts you shouldn't.
2. Trace the outline of the walls and windows on the back of the striped fabric. Cut along the lines and glue the cloth to the cardboard.
3. Glue a piece of cardboard to the bottom of the inside of the box. Then glue a piece of green wool felt to the flat piece of cardboard.
4. Fold the roof into place and glue it together on the inside of the box.
5. Glue the lace cloth to the roof, and use a template to cut flowers from the felt cloth and glue them to the box.
6. A cabin of suitable size, beautiful shape, and where cats can enter and exit at will is complete~
