This tutorial on DIY Romantic Cake Cup Ball Lamp is quite good as a home decoration. It is both light-transmitting and well-defined, with perfect depth and density.
Main materials:
100-125 cupcake liners (white, standard size), 100-125 small cake papers with vertical stripes
1 white paper lantern 18-22 inches
Tools required:
1 hot glue gun, 1 IKEA household wire
Production steps:
Step 1:
The materials are simple and cake liners are easily available
Step 2:
Put the paper lantern in a very shallow bowl
Step 3:
Dab a little bit of hot glue on the bottom of the white cupcake liner, also known as the large cupcake liner. Start gluing from the second ring of wire on the top of the lantern, and press gently until the cake lining sticks to the lantern
Step 4:
Continue to stick the cake liners in circles, as shown in the picture above. The cake liners can look crowded, and you can apply some hot glue between the liners
When it is three-quarters of the way through the lantern, turn it over, put it back into the bowl, and then fill the bottom with the cake liner with the flip side up
Step 5:
Start gluing the small cake linings, and stick them to the large cake linings in turn
Step 6:
It was completed in no time! Turn on the light and see, isn’t it beautiful?
